If you have a business that you want to ensure is disability friendly and need help please email us. We do not charge for this service, however donations are very welcome.

Useful local services

  • Disability Solutions – Welfare benefit checks and support to fill in application forms for PIP, ESA, etc, as well as support through appeals and tribunals. Also support to find aids and adaptations. Disability Awareness training available.
  • Revival – Revival offer a handyman service for small DIY jobs around the home. They also have a ‘home from hospital’ service to make sure someone’s home is safe after a hospital stay.
  • Saltbox – Carelink is a befriending service for older, vulnerable people in the city. Their volunteers will make regular phone calls to check welfare and have a chat.

    Thanks for any other excellent post. Where else may anyone get that kind of info in such an ideal method of writing? I have a presentation next week, and I’m at the search for such information.|
